  16 The directory can be updated by running "bower update". A now component can be
  17 installed by running "bower install Polymer/<component>". Be sure to add the
  18 .bower.json file to the repository as it includes the revision information of
  19 the polymer component.

  27 Polymer is comprised of two efforts:
  28 1. A set of core platform features (Shadow DOM, Custom Elements, MDV).
  29 Initially, these core features will be enabled with a set of polyfills. As
  30 browsers begin to implement these new primitives, the polyfill platform layer
  31 becomes smaller and better over time.
  32 2. A next-generation web application framework built upon these core
  33 technologies called the Polymer.
