   6 The GStreamer team is proud to announce a new release
   7 in the 0.11.x unstable series of the
   8 GStreamer Bad Plug-ins.

  12 The 0.11.x series is an unstable series targeted at developers and will
  13 eventually lead up to the stable 1.0 series.
  14 It is not API or ABI compatible with the stable 0.10.x series.
  15 It is, however, parallel installable with the 0.10.x series.

  22 No perfectly groomed moustache or any amount of fine clothing is going to
  23 cover up the truth - these plug-ins are Bad with a capital B.
  24 They look fine on the outside, and might even appear to get the job done, but
  25 at the end of the day they're a black sheep. Without a golden-haired angel
  26 to watch over them, they'll probably land in an unmarked grave at the final
  27 showdown.

  30 Don't bug us about their quality - exercise your Free Software rights,
  31 patch up the offender and send us the patch on the fastest steed you can
  32 steal from the Confederates. Because you see, in this world, there's two
  33 kinds of people, my friend: those with loaded guns and those who dig.

  37 This module contains a set of plug-ins that aren't up to par compared to the
  38 rest.  They might be close to being good quality, but they're missing something
  39 - be it a good code review, some documentation, a set of tests, a real live
  40 maintainer, or some actual wide use.  If the blanks are filled in they might be
  41 upgraded to become part of either gst-plugins-good or gst-plugins-ugly,
  42 depending on the other factors.
  43 If the plug-ins break, you can't complain - instead, you can fix the
  44 problem and send us a patch, or bribe someone into fixing them for you.
