From dd4f0d1a93c2faf22a5f75aa54fddc45878082b2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Keith Whitwell Date: Thu, 1 Dec 2005 12:53:15 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Clean up clipping somewhat - no need to update ClipMask on generated vertices - remove the VB->LastClipped value Line clipping algorithm changed and simplified somewhat. The old one was based on the triangle routine and probably wouldn't have recognized lines that were clipped down to nothing (ie culled, but not by a single plane). --- src/mesa/tnl/t_context.h | 5 --- src/mesa/tnl/t_vb_cliptmp.h | 82 +++++++++++++++++++++++++-------------------- 2 files changed, 46 insertions(+), 41 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/mesa/tnl/t_context.h b/src/mesa/tnl/t_context.h index f36dec2..da225b5 100644 --- a/src/mesa/tnl/t_context.h +++ b/src/mesa/tnl/t_context.h @@ -450,11 +450,6 @@ struct vertex_buffer /* Inputs to the vertex program stage */ GLvector4f *AttribPtr[_TNL_ATTRIB_MAX]; /* GL_NV_vertex_program */ - - GLuint LastClipped; - /* Private data from _tnl_render_stage that has no business being - * in this struct. - */ }; diff --git a/src/mesa/tnl/t_vb_cliptmp.h b/src/mesa/tnl/t_vb_cliptmp.h index 1e3a6b0..ef03403 100644 --- a/src/mesa/tnl/t_vb_cliptmp.h +++ b/src/mesa/tnl/t_vb_cliptmp.h @@ -42,16 +42,11 @@ do { \ GLuint idx = inlist[i]; \ GLfloat dp = CLIP_DOTPROD(idx, A, B, C, D ); \ \ - clipmask[idxPrev] |= PLANE; \ if (!IS_NEGATIVE(dpPrev)) { \ outlist[outcount++] = idxPrev; \ - clipmask[idxPrev] &= ~PLANE; \ } \ \ if (DIFFERENT_SIGNS(dp, dpPrev)) { \ - GLuint newvert = VB->LastClipped++; \ - VB->ClipMask[newvert] = 0; \ - outlist[outcount++] = newvert; \ if (IS_NEGATIVE(dp)) { \ /* Going out of bounds.
