From c853953658865ec3b3487e3f1eb2cc0516320bf3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?utf8?q?Zbigniew=20J=C4=99drzejewski-Szmek?= Date: Thu, 18 Dec 2014 18:08:13 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] load-fragment: allow quoting in command name and document allowed escapes The handling of the command name and other arguments is unified. This simplifies things and should make them more predictable for users. Incidentally, this makes ExecStart handling match the .desktop file specification, apart for the requirment for an absolute path. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86171 --- man/systemd.service.xml | 93 ++++++++++++++++++++++++--- src/core/load-fragment.c | 124 ++++++++++++++++++------------------ src/test/test-unit-file.c | 156 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++---------- 3 files changed, 269 insertions(+), 104 deletions(-) diff --git a/man/systemd.service.xml b/man/systemd.service.xml index da9079c..0b68aa0 100644 --- a/man/systemd.service.xml +++ b/man/systemd.service.xml @@ -377,11 +377,10 @@ For each of the specified commands, the first argument must be - an absolute and literal path to an - executable.
