From b6c08a233af79f05c12696f3b2648bf716ad543f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Richard Boulton Date: Sat, 2 Mar 2002 15:20:05 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Added esdmon plugin. Original commit message from CVS: Added esdmon plugin. Monitors output from the esd sound daemon. Particularly useful for displaying a visualisation of the audio being played on your system. eg: gst-launch esdmon ! goom ! { queue leaky=yes ! colorspace ! sdlvideosink } You can even have several of them going at once. :) --- configure.ac | 2 +- ext/esd/Makefile.am | 7 +- ext/esd/esdmon.c | 498 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 3 files changed, 505 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) create mode 100644 ext/esd/esdmon.c diff --git a/configure.ac b/configure.ac index 4d08e4e..ba44491 100644 --- a/configure.ac +++ b/configure.ac @@ -353,7 +353,7 @@ GST_CHECK_FEATURE(DVDREAD, [dvdread library], dvdsrc, [ dnl **** ESound **** translit(dnm, m, l) AM_CONDITIONAL(USE_ESD, true) -GST_CHECK_FEATURE(ESD, [esound plugins], esdsrc esdsink, [ +GST_CHECK_FEATURE(ESD, [esound plugins], esdsink esdmon, [ AM_PATH_ESD(0.2.12, HAVE_ESD=yes, HAVE_ESD=no) ]) diff --git a/ext/esd/Makefile.am b/ext/esd/Makefile.am index 95e7088..f1a23da 100644 --- a/ext/esd/Makefile.am +++ b/ext/esd/Makefile.am @@ -1,11 +1,16 @@ plugindir = $(libdir)/gst -plugin_LTLIBRARIES = libesdsink.la +plugin_LTLIBRARIES = libesdsink.la libesdmon.la libesdsink_la_SOURCES = esdsink.c libesdsink_la_CFLAGS = $(GST_CFLAGS) $(ESD_CFLAGS) libesdsink_la_LIBADD = $(GST_LIBS) $(ESD_LIBS) libesdsink_la_LDFLAGS = @GST_PLUGIN_LDFLAGS@ +libesdmon_la_SOURCES = esdmon.c +libesdmon_la_CFLAGS = $(GST_CFLAGS) $(ESD_CFLAGS) +libesdmon_la_LIBADD = $(GST_LIBS) $(ESD_LIBS) +libesdmon_la_LDFLAGS = @GST_PLUGIN_LDFLAGS@ + noinst_HEADERS = esdsink.h EXTRA_DIST = README diff --git a/ext/esd/esdmon.c b/ext/esd/esdmon.c new file mode 100644 index 0000000..488a6a8 --- /dev/null +++ b/ext/esd/esdmon.c @@ -0,0 +1,498 @@ +/* GStreamer + * Copyright (C) <2001,2002> Richard Boulton + * + * Based on example.c: + * Copyright (C) <1999> Erik Walthinsen + * + * This library is free software; you can redistribute it and/or + * modify it under the terms of the GNU Library General Public + * License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either + * version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. + * + * This library is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, + * but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of + * MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
