gpio: Allow per-parent interrupt data

The core gpiolib code is able to deal with multiple interrupt parents
for a single gpio irqchip. It however only allows a single piece
of data to be conveyed to all flow handlers (either the gpio_chip
or some other, driver-specific data).

This means that drivers have to go through some interesting dance
to find the correct context, something that isn't great in interrupt
context (see aebdc8abc9db86e2bd33070fc2f961012fff74b4 for a prime
example).

Instead, offer an optional way for a pinctrl/gpio driver to provide
an array of pointers which gets used to provide the correct context
to the flow handler.

pinctrl: renesas: checker: Fix bias checks on SoCs with pull-down only pins

If some bits in a pin Pull-Up control register (PUPR) control pin
pull-down instead of pin pull-up, there are two pinmux_bias_reg entries:
a first one with the puen field filled in, listing pins with pull-up
functionality, and a second one with the pud field filled in, listing
pins with pull-down functionality.  On encountering the second entry,
where puen is NULL, the for-loop terminates early, causing the remaining
bias registers not to be checked.  In addition, sh_pfc_check_bias_reg()
does not handle such entries.

Fix this by treating pinmux_bias_reg.puen and pinmux_bias_reg.pud the
same.

a first one with the puen field filled in, listing pins with pull-up

where puen is NULL, the for-loop terminates early, causing the remaining
bias registers not to be saved/restored during PSCI system suspend.
Fortunately this does not trigger on any supported system yet, as PSCI
is only used on R-Car Gen3 and RZ/G2 systems, which all have separate
pin Pull-Enable (PUEN) and pin Pull-Up/Down control (PUD) registers.

Avoid this ever becoming a problem by treating pinmux_bias_reg.puen and
pinmux_bias_reg.pud the same.  Note that a register controlling both
pull-up and pull-down pins would be saved and restored twice, which is
harmless.

3 years agoperf tools: Allow build-id with trailing zeros
Namhyung Kim [Fri, 10 Sep 2021 22:46:30 +0000 (15:46 -0700)]
perf tools: Allow build-id with trailing zeros

Currently perf saves a build-id with size but old versions assumes the
size of 20.  In case the build-id is less than 20 (like for MD5), it'd
fill the rest with 0s.

I saw a problem when old version of perf record saved a binary in the
build-id cache and new version of perf reads the data.  The symbols
should be read from the build-id cache (as the path no longer has the
same binary) but it failed due to mismatch in the build-id.

symsrc__init: build id mismatch for /home/namhyung/.debug/.build-id/53/e4c2f42a4c61a2d632d92a72afa08f00000000/elf.

The build-id event in the data has 20 byte build-ids, but it saw a
different size (16) when it reads the build-id of the elf file in the
build-id cache.

  $ readelf -n ~/.debug/.build-id/53/e4c2f42a4c61a2d632d92a72afa08f00000000/elf

  Displaying notes found in: .note.gnu.build-id
    Owner                Data size  Description

      Build ID: 53e4c2f42a4c61a2d632d92a72afa08f

Let's fix this by allowing trailing zeros if the size is different.
