* acconfig.h (_GLIBCPP_USE_SHADOW_HEADERS): Define. Eventually,

* config/gnu-linux/bits/ctype_base.h (ctype_base): Use it.

call to assert.
* src/locale.cc: Explicitly cast mbstate_t to void* in calls to
