Separate 'userdel' from testing syntax.

When I test toybox with toybox/tests/*.test scripts,
I got many false FAILs from it. So, I tried to fix useradd.test file.

Add --remove-destination longopt for -F because the host version doesn't have a shortopt for it.

Only discard optargs in toy_exec() after finding the command to run (otherwise the fallback exevp() segfaults).

Make egrep and fgrep build standalone.

Fix --help for single.sh builds.

Split out unix2dos so scripts/single.sh and "make change" can build it standalone.

Move guts of "make change" to scripts/change.sh, don't try to build sh or help standalone.

sh builtin commands need multiplexer, help describes other enabled commands.

Fix bug introduced by last commit (print template instead of toybuf).

Also, xstrdup() the unmodified template because changing the environment string
could make the changed version show up in "ps".

Only apply mktemp directory to targets that aren't already paths.

Fix longopts (pointed out by Hyejin Kim).

One more cleanup pass on hwclock factoring out common code.

The final "else" case in main() should always trigger because >0 in optstr
says "at most zero arguments", so the || at the end is always true, so

Rewrite of a patch from Elliott Hughes to implement touch -h and switch API to utimensat() which offers nanosecond granularity and UTIME_OMIT/UTIME_NOW.

For some reason, ifconfig was explicitly excluding "ifconfig lo:0 127.0.0.2" style alias address assignments. No idea why.

netcfg is being removed, but shows up in the toybox roadmap.

Alright, the Android guys agree with the musl guys: faccessat(AT_SYMLINK_NOFOLLOW) is not supported.

bootchartd: Removing wrong free call to non-malloc'ed string.

Fix sed s//\[newline]/ line continuations.

The problem was that readline() was returning a newline at the end of each
string, which wasn't getting stripped in the parser and thus \ wasn't at the
end of a line for -f, it was escaping a literal newline, so the continuation
logic didn't trigger. Remove some redundant null checks while we're at it,
and don't bother terminating a string we don't return (yes we leak memory
in an error path, but it's about to error_exit() anyway).

fix hwclock's rtc selection

For systems using /dev/rtcN, /dev/rtc0 isn't necessarily the RTC
that's used to provide the system time at boot time. We need to search
for the RTC whose /sys/class/rtc/rtcN/hctosys contains "1".

fix typo in printf

Remove trailing whitespace.

Lift the basename/libgen.h shenanigans back out of portability.c and make it a static inline in portability.h, and prototype dirname() while we're at it.

fix non-glibc basename(3) usage

I considered a #else on the big #ifdef __GLIBC__ above, but that
seemed harder to follow.

Move pty.h back to toys.h (under LSB 4.1 headers).

AOSP master has <pty.h> and builds netcat/nc.

id.c #ifdefectomy. (ifdefs belong in headers, not in C code.)

This patch adds a TOYBOX_SELINUX configuration option to control both
the SELinux commands (such as chcon) and the SELinux-specific options
to regular commands (such as ls -Z).

This lets us #include <selinux/selinux.h> in portability.h.

I've also fixed chcon to insist on being given the a context argument.

This patch also adds -Z to id and fixes id's regular output (-G should
be separated by spaces, non-G output should be separated by commas,
and you don't want a double comma where the egid is omitted from the
list of groups).

Switch netcat to stop parsing command line at first nonoption argument instead of stopping after -l or -L.

Hyejin Kim tried "toyboxd nc nc -p 1234 -l rm mv ps" (which attempted to run
"nc rm mv ps") and "toybox nc -l -p 1234" (which attempted to run "-p 1234")
and found the behavior confusing. So make it work like xargs, where all
netcat options have to come before the start of any child command.

Make touch -d miliseconds work. (Still only 6 digits precision instead of 9, but it's a start.)

sed bugfix: N or n at end of script would save the terminating NULL as the resume position, so the script would restart from beginning.

sed s/// can have line continuations in the replacement part, with or without a \ escaping the newline.

Alas, passing a union as the last argument to printf does not appear to work
reliably, and there's no obvious way to manually assemble varargs in a portable
manner. So I have to repeat the printf once for each data type. Oh well.

Switch a lot of strncpy() calls to xstrncpy().

strncpy(optptr, hname, strlen(hname)) is really just strcpy().

strtol() doesn't return error indicator for overflow, it just sets errno. So add estrtol() (which clears errno first), and xstrtol() (which error_exit()s on overflow).

Debris from flag handling rewrite: don't allow -^A to actually trigger.

typo fixes

Fix for mix from Isaac Dunham (who can actually test it). (I tweaked the curly brackets.)

He says:

In the channel selection loop, "if (TT.chan)" had been combined with
a strcmp; the else conditionals were premised on if (TT.chan) alone.

The help text had been only partially updated for a couple option changes.

Redo option parsing infrastructure so #define FORCE_FLAGS can unzero flag macros for a disabled command (needed when multiple commands share infrastructure with a common set of flags).

This means the flag space is no longer packed, but leaves gaps where the zeroes
go. (Actual flag bit positions are the same for all configs.) Since the
option parsing needs to know where the holes are, the OPTSTR values are
now generated as part of flags.h with ascii 1 values for the disabled values.
(So generated/oldflags.h went away.)

This also means that the option string argument for OLDTOY() went away, it now
uses the same arguments as the NEWTOY() it references.

When CP_MORE was disabled, the d flag was still in the [-exclusion] list at the end and option parsing fell off the end looking for it (segfault) if DEBUG wasn't enabled to check for that.

When you include the posix header libgen.h, glibc #defines basename to some random other symbol name (because gnu) and this screws up nontrivial macro expansions of NEWTOY(basename), so work around it in portability.h.

'traceroute' keep swapping places. self-inflicted, yes, but not much i

1) Newline in -e after s/// was eaten as "whitespace before flags"
2) \\ needs to be passed through to regex to avoid "trailing \" error and
"\\n" is not a newline.

Decouple cp and mv so mv uses its own --help text.

MV still requires CP enabled until the flag generation logic gets updated.

Give fstype its own config symbol (separate from blkid), and fix blkid not using more accurate ext3/ext4 filesystem sub-type.

Fix yet another sed bug.

The s/// command would copy the \ of substitutions before deciding what to
do with them (generally overwriting the \ with the new data). When the
substitution was A) at the very end of the new string, B) resolved to nothing,
it could leave a trailing \ that didn't belong there and didn't get overwritten
because the "copy trailing data" part that copies the original string's null
terminator already happened before the \ overwrote it.

The ghostwheel() function restarts regexes after embedded NUL bytes, but
if the string it's passed is _longer_ than the length it's told then it
gets confused (and it means we're off the end of our allocation so segfaults
are likely).

Fix: test for \ first and move the "copy byte" logic into an else case.

Make sed a\ line continuations work properly for different pattern input modes.

Fix bug in sed y/// where bytes in target but not in source were replaced by zeroes (nul terminator overwritten).

Last sed bugfix broke 'b', fix it.

Leftover variable from factoring out base64_init() caused an unused variable warning.

Oops. xfork() moved to portability.c and the config2help.c build wasn't including that. (Worked until I did a "make clean".)

Forgot to check in a header file for base64.

The tizen guys wanted this. Yeah, I know there's base64 code in
uuencode/uudecode, but that this has -i, input lines aren't of fixed length,
encode/decode are in same file, there's no prefix/suffix code, it always
writes to stdout... Eliminating the code duplication wouldn't be worth
the if/else I'd have to add, so I just did a new one.

Factored out the base64 table init into lib.c though: that was worth sharing.

Remove more strncpy() calls.

The semantics of strncat() and strncpy() are non-obvious, so let's not use 'em.
Both zero all their remaining buffer space, and with strncat() the size is
the space left at the _end_ of the string (not the size of the buffer) so
it's way too easy to stomp memory you don't own. As long as we have to measure
stuff ourselves to get it right, just use memcpy().

here's a patch that should let us replace toolbox's chcon.
(it also adds a feature, -R, because toybox makes that so easy.)

you'll probably want fancier configuration here because although the
--as-needed works okay, a typical Ubuntu box will have the .so but not
the .h files. i did consider adding a toys/selinux/ directory, but
given that existing tools like ls and id will want -Z SELinux options,
i wasn't sure whether you'd think it was worth segregating the
SELinux-only toys.

note that this won't help the tizen smack users (and patch for smack
won't help SELinux users). so you might want to think about where
you'd like us to be aiming: #if USE_SELINUX/USE_SMACK in all the
relevant places, or a toys/selinux and a toys/smack (though we'd still
need #if in at least ls and id), or a lib/security.c that concentrates
all the differences into one file?

Make unescape_delimited_string() copy the string so error reporting isn't so messed up.

Fix some sed bugs and improve error reporting.

A newline after 'b' commands in -e command line patterns was being discarded
as whitespace, a single element regex match on a {} was leaving stale state
for the next line, and giant -e blobs of instructions were saying things
like problem at character 432 (note: nulls inserted for regex processing
aren't always cleaned up, screws up error reporting).
