From: Will Newton Date: Wed, 23 Apr 2014 12:21:47 +0000 (+0100) Subject: ARM: Add optimized ARMv7 strcmp implementation X-Git-Tag: upstream/2.30~7537 X-Git-Url: http://review.tizen.org/git/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=f63c86fed0ddf38f53de486c5ec537455c00bd52;p=external%2Fglibc.git ARM: Add optimized ARMv7 strcmp implementation Add an optimized implementation of strcmp for ARMv7-A cores. This implementation is significantly faster than the current generic C implementation, particularly for strings of 16 bytes and longer. Tested with the glibc string tests for arm-linux-gnueabihf and armeb-linux-gnueabihf. The code was written by ARM, who have agreed to assign the copyright to the FSF for integration into glibc.
