efivar is is a tool to manipulate UEFI variables.
This is obviously useful only for EFI machines that have
the efivarfs interface enabled in the kernel config (CONFIG_EFIVAR_FS),
and mounted (mount -t efivarfs efivarfs /sys/firmware/efi/efivars).
