Device not found?  ENODEV, not EINVAL.
Write to read-only device?  EPERM, not EBADF.
Invalid argument?  EINVAL, not ENOSYS.
Unsupported ioctl?  ENOIOCTLCMD, not ENOSYS.
Another function returned an error code?  Use that, don't replace it.
