* Makeconfig (rtld-installed-name): Set to ld.so.1.

* sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/Makefile (rtld-installed-name): Variable
removed.

* manual/Makefile (glibc-targets): Remove subdir_ from elts.

* sysdeps/generic/dl-sysdep.c (_dl_sysdep_read_whole_file): New fn.
