Spell check replaces the second misspelled of two when a selection is made. To test manually, type 'Helllo wordl.' and context-click on 'wordl'. The test succeeds if the marker doesn't disappear from 'wordl'.

On success, you will see a series of "PASS" messages, followed by "TEST COMPLETE".
