  31           The <a href="http://junit.org/" target="_top">JUNIT format</a> is log format supported
  32           by a wide range of Continuous Build/Integration tools.
  33         </p>

  35           This format defaults its log level to <a class="link" href="test_log_output.html#test_log_output_table"><code class="computeroutput"><span class="identifier">General</span> <span class="identifier">information</span></code></a>
  36           and its default stream to a file named after <a class="link" href="../../tests_organization/test_tree/master_test_suite.html" title="Master test suite">master
  37           test suite</a>. The logger will attempt to not overwrite any existing
  38           output file, which is also usually understood by Continuous Build tools.
  39         </p>
  40 <p>
  41           This format is in fact both a log and a report format: most of the Continuous
  42           Build tools will summarize the content of a JUNIT file and show an overview
  43           of the failing/succeeding tests of a module (report format) while letting
  44           the user inspect the detailed logs (log format).
