18 <p>This command removes "extraneous" packages. If a package name is
19 provided, then only packages matching one of the supplied names are
22 <p>Extraneous packages are packages that are not listed on the parent
23 package's dependencies list.</p>
25 <p>If the <code>--production</code> flag is specified, this command will remove the
26 packages specified in your <code>devDependencies</code>.</p>
