   8 This is a very basic camera which enables to take pictures,
   9 delete last picture or delete all pictures.

  11 Pictures (JPEG format) can be stored in two sizes : 640x480 or 320x240.
  12 In fact, this is not exactly true. The pictures are all 640x480,
  13 but the "smaller" ones are just poor quality, so that it becomes
  14 decent only after resizing to 320x240.
  15 Thumbnails are downloadable from the camera in YYUV format
  16 for "big" pictures ONLY.

  18 To perform these operations, the Windows driver uses an
  19 interpolation software which acts as this :

  21 For lower quality, 640x480 pictures are downloaded, and
  22 converted to 320x240. In the same way, 80x60 thumbnails
  23 are generated.

  25 For higher quality, 80x60 thumbnails are downloaded in YYUV
  26 and converted to bitmap. Strangely enough, 640x480
  27 picture are also converted into pictures of the same size
  28 by the interpolation software, resulting in a disk-size
  29 about 2 times greater ! (but no visible loss of quality)

  31 The gsmart300 driver for gphoto just outputs the higher quality
  32 pictures as they are stored in the camera, as well as bitmap
  33 thumbnails.
  34 Lower quality pictures are left 640x480, and no thumbnail
  35 is provided.
