   5 Libaec includes a free drop-in replacement for the SZIP
   6 library[1]. Just replace SZIP's shared library libsz.so* with
   7 libaec.so* and libsz.so* from libaec. For Windows the DLLs are called
   8 SZIP.DLL and AEC.DLL. Code which is dynamically linked with SZIP such
   9 as HDF5 should continue to work with libaec. No re-compilation
  10 required.

  12 HDF5 files which contain SZIP encoded data can be decoded by HDF5
  13 using libaec and vice versa.
