1939 * The new `syscall' function is a system-dependent primitive function
1940 for invoking system calls. It has the canonical behavior on Unix

1942 `pipe', `fork' and `getppid').
1944 * The error code `EWOULDBLOCK' is now obsolete; it is always defined
1945 to `EAGAIN', which is the preferred name. On systems whose kernels
1946 use two distinct codes, the C library now translates EWOULDBLOCK to
